The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Northern Europe Initiative to raise awareness about light pollution among SDSN members

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) is a global network of knowledge institutions. The node of SDSN Northern Europe supports the Dark Sky Week with a campaign directed towards the 65+ universities and other knowledge institutions in the Nordic countries. Our aim is to make the university cities in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden a darker place during Dark Sky Week. The purpose it to spread awareness among students, researchers and residents of the cities about the effect of light pollution on biodiversity, health and the view of the sky.

Our members get a list of proposed activities and are urged to sign up to describe their contributions.
