Lyrids Livestream

The annual Lyrid meteor shower will peak on April 22, right at the beginning of IDSW. IDA and Jeff Dai will host a live steam of this meteor shower from China at 8:30 PM in Beijing time, April 22th, 2022. The stream will be available on IDA’s Facebook and YouTube and will last approximately 4-5 hours. In a dark sky with no moon, we might see 10 to 15 Lyrids per hour. It’s also a good time to see many spring constellations and the Milky Way galaxy.
